Piletest is the market leader and pioneer, in the field of pile integrity testing. We have set the standards for NDT of deep pile foundations. As a family-owned company, we manage things in a less formal and direct way keeping transparency and accountability above all. Piletest focuses strictly on the development of pile testing systems and does not offer testing services. Piletest is built with a long-term vision which means, winning customer business loyalty comes first. For that purpose, we are fast on delivery, prompt on service, invest lots of time in development just to make things a little simpler to use, and build our products to last with a 3-year warranty as standard. We can offer that because our products withstand extreme heat, vibrations, and water resistance tests before being shipped to our customers. At Piletest all products come with 10 years of free software upgrades. Piletest’s pile testing equipment is the easiest, most productive, and fastest to operate in the field, as can be read from our customers’ testimonials.
The ease of use know-how is based on our years of fieldwork before we started designing our own equipment and on the continuous integration of customer feedback.
These days we are celebrating 27 years of delivering the finest products in the market.
|Usage/Application||for a quick pile integrity test (PIT test) on a site with a large number of piles|
|Pile lengths||2m to 80m|
The PET (Pile Echo Tester) uses the Pulse-Echo method (PEM) for a quick pile integrity test (PIT test) on a site with a large number of piles.
A pile test starts when the pile top is struck with a lightweight handheld hammer. The reflected wave is captured and analyzed by the PET's digital accelerometer to provide information regarding the length and shape of the pile.
The PET is fully compliant with ASTM D5882-16: Standard Test Method for Low Strain Impact Integrity Testing of Deep Foundations and AFNOR P160-2,4 standard for pile integrity testing as well as additional standards.
The PET device (PIT tester) can connect to your MS-Windows portable PC or with the Bluetooth version to your Android smartphone or tablet.
The PET package for the PIT test includes all software versions, for PC and for Android.

|Included||Wireless depth encoder|
BIT measures the verticality of a borehole AND of existing piles
BIT uses the auger/bucket itself as the centralizer. Eliminating the need for a heavy-to-move system.
The BIT enables fast and accurate determination of inclination in both dry and wet boreholes.
Large boreholes and diaphragm walls may be quickly tested several times during drilling to enable real-time corrective action.
A special centralizer is attached to the BIT sensor and lowered into a standard access tube (No need for an expensive inclinometer tube). The BIT sensor includes a gyro which constantly measures and compensates the rotation of the sensor in the tube.
|Capacity||Up to 150m (450') deep (deeper optional)|
|Usage/Application||to perform high-resolution quality control of deep foundations.|
|Brand||Piletest , Uk|
|Speed||40 samples/sec: test as fast as 2m/sec|
The system uses an ultrasonic wave sent from a transmitter to a receiver pulled through water-filled access tubes embedded in the concrete. The measured arrival time and energy are strongly dependent on concrete quality.
Additional methods supported by the CHUM are Single Hole Ultra sonic Testing (SSL/SHUT) and Tomography (two- and three-dimensional). The CHUM is fully compliant to ASTM D6760-16, AFNOR NF P 94-160-1 and additional standards
